For DJ 2Notty, music wasnât just something he listened toâit was part of his DNA. Growing up around block parties and hip-hop culture, he was drawn to the energy of the scene.
"Musicâs been in me for a long time. Before I was a DJ, I was a rapper, so I was always into music. But something about DJing caught my eye. The DJ is the main focus of the whole dealâwithout the DJ, you ainât got nothing."
It didnât take long for him to realize that spinning records, setting the mood, and making people move was where his heart belonged. And like a true student of the craft, he taught himself everything.
"Nobody taught me how to DJâI just picked it up on my own. It was a craft I just took to."

Thereâs an undeniable magic in being the one behind the turntables. To DJ 2Notty, DJing isnât just about playing musicâitâs about commanding an entire room, creating energy, and shaping the night.
"The thing I love the most about DJing is being able to control a crowd. You can take a room full of 2,000 people and make them do what you want them to do. Thatâs the power of music."
From manipulating different genres to reading the room, DJ 2Notty sees himself as a live remixer, blending sounds, flipping tracks, and bringing the art of REAL DJing back.
đ The Moment That Changed Everything
DJ 2Nottyâs journey took a deeply personal turn when his uncle, the first person who truly believed in his talent, passed away.
"The first time I told my uncle I was DJing, I had my first set of turntables with two records. I didnât know what I was doing, but I kept practicing. About eight months later, he passed away. From that moment, I said, âYou know what? Iâm taking this to another level.â"
That loss ignited a fire inside him, pushing him to prove himself, evolve his skills, and never settle.
"All you need is one person to believe in what you do."
đšâđ©âđ§âđŠ Family, Legacy & The Future of DJ 2Notty
Beyond the music, family is everything to DJ 2Notty. With three sons and a daughter, he knows his kids are always watchingânot because he forces the culture on them, but because music is in their environment.
"Family is a lot. My kids support what I do. They wanna come to parties with me, see how it works. If you donât have that support, you really donât have nothing."
With that strong foundation behind him, DJ 2Notty is ready to take over.
